Guess Gen Y isn't as mobile as we first thought, based on results from a study conducted by scenarioDNA.
"Consider this, although iPod defines music for 56% of Gen Yers polled in the survey, more than half (50.7%) of Gen Yers listen to their music mainly at home. Meanwhile, 40% of respondents claim that the handheld device Game Boy defines gaming for them. Yet 71.1% say they mainly play their video games (guess where?) -- at home."
Part of this is due to the bans on portable electronics in school and the workplace, so teens are not as mobile as they can be. It won't be until the bans lift over time that mobile campaigns will start to effectively reach this demographic.

Logs from way back...
"Palm One has linked a deal with luxury car maker Audi to enable automatic Bluetooth paring between the Treo 650 and Audi cars. The car will automatically become your hands-free device. Treo 650 will ship next month."
Graphically speaking, who has the better poster? 2004 Election: Don't get to comfortable, it's happening, again.
iamstatic is definitely worth a visit, along with the bearskinrug sketchbook.
And, just in case you were wondering... they have it covered.
For further illumination on the subject of geek fashion, be sure to catch amadeo decada. They have numerous cute tees, along with a pretty innovative way to display their catalog.
I always find it interesting how Speak Up is so on point. Every time I visit the site I am inspired to further the discussion among friends and colleagues. Conversation is such a great thing. For all of you designers who just so happen to like to ski, this adventure might be just what you were looking for.
Recent coffee news: And if it's not already bad enough that I am addicted to Iced Mochas, now you'll be able to burn your own custom CD while you sip on your cup of joe.

Catching Up | the beginning...
Okay, so I've been putting it off. And putting it off some more. I must visit 30 blogs on a daily basis (thank gawd for tabbed browsing)- yet didn't have one myself. So here we go...
Let me just start by saying that these guys are onto something. The interaction transitions remind me slightly of the Intentionallies site, but as a search tool for tag—it's out of control. As if people weren't already into Flickr.
And more from the proverbial blogosphere, a recent problogger interview with Paul Scrivens talks about making major mulaah with your blog- I think he mentions that his best month was a little over $10,000. If this interests you, check out Workboxers and sign up for the 9rules network.
On the mobile front, now you can get all the info you need on your hand-held through MobileAnswers (Beta), a site that uses content from Wikipedia and other sources to get you up to speed on just about anything you need.
